Keeping everything inside ~/dotfiles directory

A couple of weeks ago, I used subtree to copy this blog into my .emacs.d directory and manage the publishing from there. It let me keep the elisp glue code in one place where it makes the most sense. I was happy with the setup but not quite content because it was still incomplete.

Today, I started moving everything into one dotfiles directory. I probably should've started like that last time.

Update I don't do this anymore. It made sense to me conceptually but it's a bit difficult to do that in practice. I would love to give this a try again but that would require some tooling work.
